Seattle Area Home Prices Have Improved a lot.  Curious about yours?

One of the greatest aspects of my job is that I get to talk to my amazing clients throughout the day and I learn something from each one of them. Over the years in Seattle real estate, people have shared things with me, some good and some not-so-good.

The events of this last week have been the stuff meltdowns are made of. It’s been one thing after the other. Most of it has been par for the course and things just happen.

I was feeling sorry for myself when I thought back to something a man told me a while ago.  He said live life with as few complications as possible.

I thought about the statement and it dawned on me.  That seemed to be what was plaguing me.  I was over complicating things.  I took a few deep breaths and step about de-complicating (is that a word?) the things that were giving me anxiety.  Presto – I immediately started to feel better and get more accomplished.  Try it for yourself.

Whether it relates to your relationships, work, or even your attitude, simple does not have to mean boring! Focus on your end goal and purpose at all times and let the superfluous aspects fall to the side.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity of interacting with people who live their lives operating in ways society suggests that they HAVE to do, which always seems to be “more” — accomplish more, acquire more. And without fail it doesn’t take long before they feel miserable and trapped.

But, the people who appear to be content are the ones who found a way to escape the sounds and pushes to “fit-in” by ignoring them, and focusing on what made them happy.

They are always the ones I learn and grow the most from. Not to mention, enjoy servicing them as clients!”
